David Tiftickjian & Sons has been family owned and operated since 1892. A lot has changed over the last 133 years, but one thing has not: our commitment to family, community, and tradition.
In celebration of our 133rd Anniversary, we want to take the time to share our gratitude and tell you a bit about our family history so you know who we are, where we come from, what we mean to the community, and what our community means to us.
For those who don’t know, our grandfather, Dickran Tiftickjian, was an Armenian immigrant who came to Buffalo, NY at 12 years old to open an oriental rug store. Now in our fourth generation of “rug hunters”, we continue the legacy Dickran began 133 years ago.
Although we began by buying and selling new, used, vintage, and trade-in rugs from around the world, we have adapted over the years. We’re now the largest wall to wall carpet dealer in WNY, and we’ve expanded to offer commercial carpet, hardwood flooring, and luxury vinyl flooring to better help our customers achieve their dream interior.
